Assistant Commandant is a post in the central Police forces like CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB and BSF are the mainstay for execution of tasks assigned to CPF battalions deployed for various central duties or exigencies.
The candidate must be a citizen of India
The candidate who are subject of Nepal and Bhutan are also eligible to apply in exam
The lower age limit for the CAPF exam is 20 years and the upper age limit is less than 25 years. The age of the candidate is calculated from August 1 of the exam year. For the candidates appearing in the UPSC CAPF exam 2021, the candidates must have been born not earlier than August 2, 1996 and not later than August 1, 2001.
As given in the official CAPF notification, "the candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree from any recognised university". The candidates who are in the final year of their degree course can also apply for the exam but they have to produce the final year mark sheet of the qualifying exam with the detailed application form.
Possession of NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificates: Candidates in the possession of NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate will be given preference at the time of Interview. It should be noted that these qualifications will be given consideration only at the time of Interview/Personality Test.
Bodily Strength- The candidate should be both physically and mentally healthy.
